Olamma Cares
Foundation

Mental health and wellness for women in Africa — grounded in culture, community, and dignity.

Who We Are

Healing spaces for women navigating life.

Olamma Cares Foundation is a nonprofit advancing emotional wellbeing through culturally grounded, community-based psychosocial support. We work with women facing life transitions — identity, career, relationships, motherhood, grief, and societal pressure.

Through our flagship initiative, Umé Healing Circles, we create structured spaces combining guided dialogue, storytelling, peer support, and eco-therapy. Beyond group work, we connect women to subsidised therapy, clinical referrals, and ongoing community care.

25,000+ individuals impacted since founding, through mental health advocacy, crisis intervention, emotional wellness programs, community support, and access-to-care interventions.

Vision

A society where every woman can access safe, affordable, and culturally relevant mental health support rooted in dignity and community care.

Mission

To reduce mental health stigma and expand access to emotional wellness through culturally rooted, community-driven support systems.

Our Work

Where we focus.

We bridge the gap between everyday emotional distress and formal clinical care — building an evidence-informed model for early mental health intervention across African communities.
